Spray foam Insulation for two faculty buildings and one dormitory

Foam USA awarded spray foam insulation job at Williston Northampton School!

Williston Northampton School has embarked on construction of a new quad area that will have two faculty buildings and one dormitory. Foam USA will work with general contractor Newfield Construction from Hartford, CT. Foam USA is excited to partner on this project and looks forward to a safe and successful installation.

In May of 2017, Williston’s Board of Trustees approved the construction of a new dormitory across Park Street from the main campus. In accordance with the tenets of the school’s Strategic and Campus Master Plans, the dorm will help centralize where students and faculty live on campus, create more community and gathering spaces, and will enhance the quality of student and faculty housing. The dorm will accommodate 40 students, as well as four faculty families in attached faculty homes—-and will feature state-of-the-art geothermal systems, which will increase Williston’s overall energy efficiency.  Read the full article here →

The outer rim band is a crucial section that must be insulated before the plywood deck is installed. Once covered there’s no viable way to insulate retroactively. Every few weeks Foam USA visits to install closed cell spray foam in each outer rim band to make Airtight and R40+.         In total 8 platforms foamed.
